Making Cyanotypes from scratch is a labor intensive but satisfying process. Selection of papers, variations in chemical formula, temperature, exposure. Each impacts the gradation of the image.
Aerospace patent mashup series
Out There series (2016)
The Out There Series were created as part of an art competition for a engineering supplier to the European Space Agency. It consists of 10 cyanotypes of mashups of aerospace patents from the 1960s to present.
Senckenberg Coral series (2018)
In 2018, in a cooperation with the Senckenberg Society for Nature Research (Frankfurt, Germany) a series of large format cyanotypes were made by making use of their deep sea and shallow water coral specimens.
